Adolescent/teen therapy

Adolescence can be a confusing and emotional time - filled with new responsibilities, social pressures, and big changes in identity and relationships.

Teen therapy offers a safe, judgment-free space for youth to talk openly about what they’re going through, whether it’s anxiety, family conflict, self-esteem, peer relationships, or navigating life transitions.

At Kindred Counselling, we help teens build emotional awareness, healthy coping skills, and confidence to express themselves authentically.

Our approach combines evidence-based strategies with compassion and understanding — helping them feel seen, heard, and supported as they learn to manage challenges and build resilience.

EMDR

EMDR therapy is a highly successful therapeutic approach to help you overcome the present day impact of traumatic events.

Trauma isn’t only the big, life threatening events, but also the smaller events that deeply shaped how you view yourself and the world around you. If you struggle with negative beliefs about yourself, lack trust, or notice repeated patterns that you keep trying to get out of, EMDR can be a good fit for you.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Therapy doesn’t have to stay inside four walls.

Walk & Talk sessions take place outdoors, combining the benefits of movement, nature, and conversation.

It’s a gentle way to process what’s on your mind while feeling grounded in the fresh air.
